Start the day at Hakone for coffee and pastries, have dinner at Kafe Republik, head to Cinemateket for extraordinary film experiences, then lean back – or maybe perk up with another coffee afterwards, this time at Fuglen… or why not a cocktail? The night still feels young? Then continue to Baba Bar for great drinks and snacks, and later to Elsker for music, dance, and community until late. All of these places are in Lysløypa, so bring your book!
Downtown is no longer just somewhere you rush past – it’s a jungle of its own. In between, let yourself get lost in some of our unique and independent favorites: the book havens of Tronsmo or Cappelens Forslag, or hop on a bike to the fjord for a sauna session and a refreshing dip. And if you’re one of those who need the right outfit for the right occasion – stop by Prisløs or LE TREND for vintage treasures.
