Vågal came to life during a short, hectic week around Easter in 2018. It started with a love for coffee and wine and found its home in one of the coziest old buildings on Kong Oscars gate. Today, it's a café and lunch/brunch spot during the daytime, serving you homemade toast and soup, as well as a variety of treats to go with your coffee. In the evening, the lights dim, and the bottles are opened. The wine takes center stage, and they are more than happy to talk to you about it endlessly. But if you're thirsty for an ice cold beer you won’t be ignored! 

At Vågal you can hide in a corner with a book, share a couch with friends, or hang out in a warm and cozy backyard.
