When three of the people on our small Lysløypa team live in the streets around Adamstuen, and discover that a new place to eat is in the works in our beloved neighbourhood, the joy is extra big. As this text is being written and while the book goes to print, the gang behind new Disken are still standing on their heads to get the space finished – by the time you buy the book, they'll be well underway!

The gang behind it is Jonas (designer), Sofie (architect) and Mike (photographer, who you might know from Mike's Corner). Jonas and Sofie tested the panini concept before, when they borrowed Rosenhoff Kiosk during summer of 2025. Were you there and want more? Head to Adamstuen!

There'll be coffee, paninis, deli and a bar! You'll be able to get a simple, properly good panini – picture the kind of sandwich you'd typically find in Italy, something the gang behind Disken had themselves been missing in our beloved Oslo. There'll be a bit of continental atmosphere, while still feeling down-to-earth and «like home»: good ingredients, a counter of cheeses and cured meats (the kind there used to be so many of, and which you find in, yes, Italy – and there's room for more of in Oslo), as seasonal as possible and as little food waste as possible.
