In a sustainable society, we need to buy fewer things and instead: Enjoy experiences! Such as art. And dance! These experiences can leave lasting impressions in our memories.
In 2008, a long battle fought by individuals and organizations finally came to an end: Dansens Hus opened its doors. A brand-new, functional, and beautiful theater house in an old industrial hall by the Akerselva river. This marked an important milestone in the visibility, acceptance, and recognition of dance as an art form. Dansens Hus is Norway's national stage for dance and is the only venue in the country exclusively dedicated to dance performances. They showcase productions by various dance artists and companies, embracing a wide spectrum of the art of dance. They even cater to the youngest audience - quite literally, with performances even for children from 0 years old.
Stop by and let yourself be moved!
