We at Lysløypa are proud to present our brand new self-written tune! It goes something like this, to the melody of the 90s classic «Bailando»: Ballarò, Ballarò! Yes, you must go here! Just kidding, we'll stick to what we're good at.

This cool, yellow spot in Sagene serves authentic Sicilian flavours Ballarò-style, inspired by the oldest market in Palermo. Pulsating, colourful and take-away based. We love that vibe!

Treat yourself to arancini (fried rice balls) and cannoli filled with pistachio and ricotta, or the more familiar Italian classics: tiramisu, lasagne and pizza (and it's exactly the lasagne and pizza you get a super nice deal on!).

We're also looking forward to trying the Stromboli with porchetta – you get to decide the filling yourself, Kris Jenner would probably go for a «papoocha de poopoo» or a Cacio E Pepe Spagliata pizza, as it's called here. (Either way, it's all pronounced with your fingers pressed together, Italian-style!)

The place is small, but the vibe is big: expect to queue alongside your Sagene neighbours while the smell of fresh pizza drifts out onto the street. Take the food home, or find yourself a bench nearby and eat it warm – Ballarò is the kind of place you end up popping into «just one more time» far more often than planned.
