The theme of Lysløypa Oslo 2026 is “The Pride & Love Edition” — because we believe it’s a human right to be who you are and to love who you choose.
That doesn’t mean the places featured in this edition are only for LGBTQ+ people. No, not at all. Everyone is welcome. But, to be part of this year’s guide, each venue must share these values.
At Lysløypa, we wholeheartedly believe that everyone should be free to live as their true selves — fully and without compromise. That’s freedom. And when freedom is for everyone, we all become freer. That’s the kind of society we want: one where you can be you, and I can be me, and where we meet each other with respect and care.
This book is small. Our team is small, too. But even small books, projects, groups, and voices can make a difference. Every voice matters — and we intend to use ours.
We’re here to champion the independents, the underdogs, the subcultures, the minorities, and anyone who could use a pat on the shoulder.
You might be thinking, Why should I care? Maybe this particular issue doesn’t touch your life. But one day, it might. One day, it could be you who needs that pat on the shoulder — someone cheering you on, not because they have to, but because they want to, and because it matters to all of us.
