Along the road at Galgeberg lies a gas station that has become a trendy and cool coffee bar. What used to be next door to the mechanics' smoking room from the auto repair shop has now become Oslo's smallest coffee kiosk! The icing on the cake is that it is located in a little gem of a building, designed by architect Paul Hoel in 1935.

This independent shop uses independent suppliers, often from the local area, and has become a meeting place for the entire Vålerenga neighborhood, with as many as 56 co-owners from the area. On just eleven square meters, they sell baked goods and coffee from locally roasted beans by Kaffa. Norway's perhaps smallest coffee shop has room for only a few guests inside but has plenty of space for outdoor seating. The atmosphere is warm, and they host plant markets, concerts, bike repair workshops, and markets where the proceeds go to emergency aid in Gaza.

Pump coffee, not gasoline. Coffee is the black gold!
