Stumbling upon things you didn't know you were interested in is one of the most beautiful things that exist. Whoop whoop, the horizon expands!

PechaKucha Night Oslo is that kind of cultural event; you are served 12 mini-lectures on architecture, design, film, art and music. The atmosphere in the room bubbles, so much so that I met my husband at a PechaKucha event, as well as the person who has become my closest "business partner"! So yup, here we have proof: these events can cultivate new vital relationships and defining life-direction.

The concept originated in Tokyo over 20 years ago and has spread to cities all over the world. That’s promising for collaboration and companionship worldwide! Oslo is one of the cities that has been hosting PechaKucha events for the longest time, driven by a dedicated volunteering editorial team that searches high and low, early and late, for the good story, which is conveyed by presenting 20 images for 20 seconds each, resulting in a lecture of 6 minutes and 40 seconds.

After giving two different PechaKucha talks, I can confirm: it is EXTREME SPORTS!
