Just a stone's throw from Rodeløkka, at Dælenenga, there is a quite ordinary yet uncommon café. ​​KaffeLykke is not only a heartwarming neighborhood café but also an initiative to provide work training for young adults. The goal is to help as many as possible find regular employment, and the café’s motto is that everyone has something to contribute and deserves a chance. Agreed!

With good guidance from Eivind and Vibeke, who run the café, you can enjoy delicious lunches, sandwiches, cakes, and coffee. As a little bonus (for early risers), they open at 8:00 am Monday to Friday. From 11:00 to 13:30, they serve the daily hot lunch, the menu is posted at the beginning of the week on social media. And it’s affordable too!
