3 thrifts for the price of 2

    Tekst: Ola Refsnes

Slit'an's passionate owner, Enok, learned the art of running a store back in his childhood when he sold rocks and candy to his family from his bedroom. When he discovered the available space on Håkonsgaten, he simply thought, "I can do this." A couple of days later, Slit'an Vintage became a reality! The shop was located here for two years before Slit'an moved to a stunning location at Christian Michelsens gate 7, right across from Den Nationale Scene (The National Theatre in Bergen).

Used clothes are said to be up to twenty times more environmentally friendly than new ones. It's not surprising when you consider how much energy, water, and resources clothing production consumes. Resources that could be used for drinking water, for example. And when you add the microplastics and oil used in most new clothes, there's no doubt that we should shop more secondhand. So, pay a visit to Slit'an!
